Taiwan Trip from 3rd nov to 9th nov

We are finally back from TAIWAN! aww* gonna miss the place for a while. love the peeps and culture thr. they are so friendly and environmental conscious! :) and they love dogs!!

We tour-ed the entire taiwan from 花莲，高雄， 台北。。。 etc. Viewed the awesome Taroko Gorge and my fav scenery is the Sun Moon Lake and the temple there is magnificent and very peaceful feeling.

sad to say we did not buy enough 太阳饼 or 凤梨酥 !! and def. nt enough shopping for me. i think my yang is the happiest shopper becos he managed to get all the things he love. As for me, i didnt buy too much stuff becos' some i find it common/and the clothings were mainly long sleeve becos of the change of season from autumn to winter. BUT i still shopped as usual lah. haha. maybe my little bit of shopping is equiv to plenty in the eyes of others lol. and i'm happy becos dear encouraged me to get the Jill Stuart make up when we were at the DREAM MALL haha and i bought home one entire set. happy lah else i would regret becos we will not be returning to the same place every day based on the tour. And also I didnt shop to the max at the streets becos i have simply too much of everything alr. oh ya oh ya one small regret is i abandon the thought of getting the shimmery kitson bag i loved becos it was too expensive quoted at XiMenDing (1700NT) and even if i bargain they would only sell it to me at (1600NT) that's like 76 sgd and might not be authentic.

okie. i shall slowly blog abt our 甜蜜蜜 trip starting day One.

so excited for the trip!

桃园
the flight and transit was smooth and we were picked up by the tour agency driver name 老陈 holding a signboard with our names on it. The weather was pretty cold that night due to xxx. It was about 5plus when we reached Taoyuan Airport and the skies started turning dark and by 6pm, it looks like 8pm.

our first night was spent at 桃园大饭店

The hotel is really OLD but it was pretty comfy staying there.
Dropped our bags and headed to 桃园夜市 for dinner.
cabfare = abt 100NT

The first thing I did was to get my bubble milk TEA. lol. and yes i drank more than
one cup x 7days. a total of almost 13-14 cups in all for my entire trip. I attempted to find the best milk tea i can in taiwan LOL.


the lady recommended the hot milk tea.
so we got the pudding milk tea ( rec. by joo) and
it was really YUMMY.


baby tried the sniper game haha.. tried to win me a bear bear and he's
trying to prove me his marksman title.
he won me a 虾米 purse lol. funny thing. you cant win a bear in one game,
have to accumulate the points and all. shrugs*


Next I wanted to eat 荡包
damm cheap! 7 bun for 50NT (abt $2+sgd)



ordered the 甜不辣 and
oyster 面线 .... very disappointed really not to our liking.

we ate a whole lot of other street food such as
the sweet potatoes with plum flavouring, fried porkchop etc




bought the big big yakult. yum. taste like calpis.

some shopping stuff we've bought for us / friends/ family. =X
looks like a lot? lol...
